One of the biggest reasons I bought a new Tivo was the nothion of recording more shows on TechTV. I always missed watching Leo Laporte and those other features.
Much to my surprise though, we I tried to turn in the Screen Savers…Leo was gone! It must have been his gray hair or the fact that he was a Mac Addict, whatever the reason, it reminded me of what happened when MTV stopped playing videos.
Much to my excitement, I saw that Leo had started a new web site/PodCast somewhere in Blog world and with an RSS Feed, I’m linked back up to Leo who has a new grass roots project at a place they originally called ‘Return of the Bleep.’ Evidently, TechTV would not all the Screen Savers title.
Despite that, I’m subscriber number 200 to his new PodCast and look forward to watching it grow. They say that the PodCast will continue to be free, but have recently put a $2.00 donation button on the site and users have contributed to picking a new name to the show.
For now, I look forward to my weekly visit with Leo and his staff as I work on the computer and will be very interested in his success.
