I came away with plenty of media following Bristol Rhythm and Roots a couple of weeks ago. After processing more than 400 photographs and about two hours with of video, I think everything is just about published here on my blog.
Carson Waugh helped shot both photos and video and Jared Bentley helped me to process the video and now we have several of these moments posted to You Tube. Click on the links below
for a sampler of the following acts at this year’s Bristol festival. Reagan Boggs, Mad Tea Party, Alvaredo Jones, a couple of guys on the street corner and another group of pickers who were under the trees on Saturday.
Here’s one of my favorite acts from the festival. Mad Tea Party performs a set outside of Omainans in Bristol.

Reagan Boggs performs ‘Right Now’ the title track from her third CD.
My friend Clay Pruett performs with his bluegrass act Alvaredo Jones at Ireson’s Pub Saturday night, September 15, 2007
One of the great things about this festival are the street-side performances and this one popped up Saturday afternoon.
Here’s another jam that occured underneath a big ole’ shade tree downtown.
