Every year now for 26 years, our hometown in Kingsport celebrates Summer with the annual Fun Fest. From July 13th through July 21st, our community experienced a week of fun events, fantastic music and to wrap things up…the Fun Fest Fireworks.
These fireworks are always some of the best all year long too and this year, I took a video camera and recorded the crowds, Charlie Daniels in the background and the lights and sounds of the evening.
For me, the Fun Fest fireworks always seems to mark the transition from Summer to Fall, but more important, it’s a great reflection of our community. Enjoy these videos now on You Tube – there are too because they are both 10 minutes each.
