It’s still mesmorizing to discover a new postcard with photos of Kingsport and here’s a new one I’ve never seen before. The photo was taken in 1928 and according to the postcard caption, this was a carnival on Broad Street. Our office building is easily spotted at the old Bank of Kingsport and it looks like there are streamers going across the street. I’m not sure what month this is, but from the crowd, they seem a bit over-dressed in the foreground with suits and hats. There’s no doubt this must have been a wonderful day several years ago.
