Over the past several weeks, I’ve had plenty of fun preparing this music and it’s been more inspiring than any act I’ve worked with in some time. Jared Bentley is a performer and songwriter that I’ve always admired. We’ve spent some time together over the past couple of weeks hanging out listening to live bands and musicians and it’s gonna be great to finally back him up at this reunion.
CLEAR is made up of front -man, Jared, Greg Smith on guitar, Lance McCloud on bass and Willie Smith on drums.. They are the original lineup and I’m the new kid on the block. We’ll be playing a full two hour set with no breaks Saturday and the room should be wall-to-wall. This music is fun, original and contagious – I don’t think we have a sad song in the bunch and I’m not sure if that’s even possible for this bunch. These guys are some of the most warm and hopeful musicians I’ve ever worked with and it’s gonna be a great time.
