I’m sure looking forward to this Friday night! The Reagan Boggs Band will pull into Blowing Rock, NC tomorrow night as we continue our musical romp through the mountains of North Carolina with a show at Canyons.
We’ve got rooms at The Green Park Inn which looks pretty cool and should be a good nest for a bunch of hyped-up musicians and around 10pm, we’ll start our performance at one of the coolest mountainside roosts in North Carolina at Canyons. The place has wonderful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a live web cam too.
Canyons has Leon Russell this month and regularly entertains several legendary performing artists and best of all – this Friday night has no cover!
Reagan has had some great press this week too as both The Mountain Press and the Highlander Magazine reviewed her CD and trumped our upcoming show. I especially liked the Mountain Times analogy where it referred to Reagan as a “Siren.”
The band’s sounding tighter all the time too. After our two Maggie Valley performances and rehearsal earlier this week, we’ve got a new song or two and tightened up the set lists a bit.
