Down Home features twin bill with Reagon Boggs & Last Train Home

Hey Hey Hey! Some great press from The Elizabethton Star (I had not seen their new website design)….this was an article that appeared in the online edition on Tuesday, March 28th and refers to Reagan and Ed Brace with Last Train Home. Can’t wait till Friday. Should be a hoot-nanny at The Down Home in Johnson City.

Four weeks after releasing “Never Looking Behind” to a capacity crowd at the Down Home, Reagan Boggs unloaded her Taylor guitar and strolled through the back door of the IOTA Club and Café. The eclectic establishment, located across the Potomac from the Nation’s Capitol, boasts a “Who’s Who” history of performers. The stage, backed against the window looking out over Wilson Boulevard, has been graced by the likes of John Mayer, Jack Johnson and Norah Jones. Boggs had been invited to open the night by Alt-Country heroes, Last Train Home.

The group was formed by frontman Eric Brace, at the time, the Nightwatch columnist for the Washington Post. Brace, along with his brother Alan and guitarist Bill Williams, added drummer Martin Lynds and bassist Jim Gray, and in January of 1997 opened for country punk rockers the Waco Brothers.
