For New Years, I bought myself a gift of season tickets to the Tennessee Theatre. Over the years, I’ve seen some of the most influential jazz artists of all time on this stage. In my dreams, I can’t help but imagine performing on this stage because it’s just a great old theatre. Knoxville’s rennovation over the past couple of years has rekindled this wonderful auditorium and honestly, if you live in the State of Tennessee, this stage is one of the most hallowed stages in the state.
Last year, I saw the legnedary Dave Brubeck, Wynton Marsalis, John McGlothlin and The Brad Meldau Trio and each performance was incredible. A lifelong memory and influential toward my growth as a musician.
The upcoming concert season was just announced and I’m happy to see some of my favorites on the list and without a doubt will have to renew my annual cultural ticket. Here’s the lineup;
